Transmit Audio to Processing to Monitor Delay Time

To measure the time required for the K3 to digitize the input microphone signal, perform speech processing and then convert back to analog audio over the Line Out port (signal monitor function on), I set the 8904A function generator to create a 1000 Hz sinewave, AM modulated 100% by a 5.0 Hz square wave.

As with the earlier data, the upper trace (black) is the input waveform and the lower trace (blue) is the K3's monitor output. Setting the oscilloscope's cursors on the peak of the second full cycle of the input and output waveforms shows a delay of 31.0 ms. (It's possible, of course, that the actual delay is much longer, as the test waveform is repetitive. However, a quick check at 1 Hz modulating frequency shows the same time period.)
